Located at 1155 Conshohocken Road, Conshohocken, Montgomery County, Reworld Plymouth LLC. is a permitted waste-to-energy facility. The company is seeking to renew its five-year Title V/State Operating Permit. The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is currently reviewing this renewal request and is expected to render a decision after completing a thorough technical review and receiving comments from the public.

This web page has been created to provide information about this renewal. DEP’s review of this renewal application is expected to be completed in 2024.

Public Participation

Opportunities for public participation will be available, including a comment period and public hearing. This project is subject to enhanced public participation under DEP’s Environmental Justice Public Participation Policy during the permit application review process.

A public meeting and hearing will be held on May 21, 2024 at 6:00 P.M. at the Davenport Elementary School, 1 East Oak Street, Norristown, PA 19401, to accept oral comments on the proposed Title V Operating Permit renewal.

Written comments of any length will be accepted until May 31, 2024 and should be sent to Ms. Janine Tulloch-Reid, P.E. by email at ra-epseroaqpubcom@pa.gov, or by mail or hand-delivered to DEP’s Southeast Regional Office, 2 East Main Street, Norristown, PA 19401. All comments, whether verbally during the hearing or submitted in writing, carry equal weight and consideration. DEP will prepare a comment and response document, after the public comment period closes, responding to all public comments received orally at the hearing and in writing prior to the deadline.
