Pennsylvania’s Nonpoint Source (NPS) Management Program utilizes both the Growing Greener state funding source as well as the Section 319 federal funding source to direct watershed based restoration efforts throughout the commonwealth. Partners benefiting from participation in these grant programs are required to request reimbursement for work performed on a quarterly basis. Requesting Reimbursement

To ensure an efficient use of both state and federal funding, participating partners are required to submit reimbursement requests on a quarterly basis. A complete reimbursement request, known as an “AFR Packet” typically consists of an application for reimbursement (AFR), an application for reimbursement supplemental sheet, a quarterly report or project status report, and supporting documentation such as invoices and receipts to support the reimbursement request. The standard reporting schedule for Growing Greener, Section 319, Watershed Specialist and other such grant programs is detailed in the table below:
