Draft Policies

Executive Order 2012-11 rescinded a 1995 Executive Order establishing the Money Back Guarantee. The "Permit Review Process and Permit Decision Guarantee" policy, which can be viewed below, replaces the former Money Back Guarantee policy. The draft policy will be published in the Sept. 1 edition of the Pennsylvania Bulletin for a 30-day public comment period beginning in early September. The Sept. 1 edition of the Pennsylvania Bulletin will also include a draft of the "Permit Coordination Policy," which proposes how DEP permit review staff will coordinate the review of projects in need of multiple permits.

DEP accepted comments on the draft policies from Sept. 1 through Oct. 1. Comments, including comments submitted by electronic mail, must include the originator's name and address.
